Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

This policy explains what personal data evoilabs collects when you use this website, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We keep it plain and short.

Who is responsible for your data

evoilabs (evoilabs SASU), operated by Mathieu Romary, is the data controller. You can reach us at mathieu@evoilabs.com.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you use any quiz or form on the site (including onboarding or intake), or contact us by email or messaging, we collect what you provide, typically your name, email address, company, and the answers or message you send.

Information collected automatically. We use EU-hosted basic, privacy-conscious analytics: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, so we can understand how the site is used and improve it.

Why we use it

Legal basis

We process the information you submit through our forms (name, email, company, answers) on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to your request and, where your request concerns our services, to take steps at your request prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you opt in to receive marketing communications, we process your data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time. We use tools hosted in the EU to measure website audience on an aggregated, statistical basis (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers that make this site work, for hosting, analytics, form storage, email delivery, and messaging, acting as our processors and only as needed to provide the service.

Some of these providers are located in the United States. These transfers are governed by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, which provide appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR.

How long we keep it

Prospect and contact data is kept for a maximum of 3 years from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted or you are asked whether you wish to keep hearing from us. Audience-measurement data is kept for no more than 25 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and you can object to a use or withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email mathieu@evoilabs.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Cookies and analytics

We use an EU-hosted analytics tool for audience measurement. Because it may store a cookie or local-storage identifier, we load it only after you accept analytics through the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, analytics stay off. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
